We have continued to provide an effective service to our patients despite the COVID-19 epidemic. We have created new procedures for adult ADHD assessment. This includes the introduction of Qb Test as an assessment tool for ADHD.
It is possible that medical staff have preconceived notions about what an individual suffering from ADHD will look like. Before you visit it is helpful to familiarise yourselves with the symptoms (traits) of ADHD.
What is ADHD assessment?
An ADHD assessment is a comprehensive review of the symptoms and their impact on daily life. It can be used to determine the root cause of the symptoms and to determine the most effective treatment. This may include medication, behavioural therapy or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. The goal is to lessen the hyperactive, inattentive, and impulsive symptoms of the disorder, and improve the patients' attitudes towards and abilities to manage their day-to-day lives.
